Same thing happened to me as #2, #3 and others. The code DOESN'T work. The code worked fine at checkout and I even received an order confirmation e-mail that showed the discount. However, when I received the shipping confirmation e-mail, the discount had been removed. I called Spiegel, and they said the code only applied to a certain item featured in Lucky magazine. #15 :

I had the same exact experience as post #2. Upon ordering the discount was applied so somehow their system had to be aware of it. I got a temporary order reference number showing the 35% discount. The next day I got the order confirmation not reflecting the discount. Three messages sent on their "contact us" option and not one has been answered. Very poor - very poor business. #3 :

Please be aware. I used the code and the discount was applied at checkout but they charged my credit card the full amount even though the discounted amount appeared as my total. After calling customer service they said they "did not authorize third party codes". To which I told them I did not authorize them to charge my credit card the full amount. It will take a few days for my case to be bumped up the customer service chain of command to assure that it is applied. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL to make sure this didn't happen to you too! #2 :
